Monica offers many different types of massage services. Below are a list of services currently offered.

• Integrative Massage: An integrated massage is any kind of therapeutic massage that integrates multiple modalities into a single session. Discover what an integrated massage is when Monica creates a massage just to your body’s needs, including multiple different techniques.
• Manual Lymphatic Drainage: Manual lymphatic drainage (MLD) is a type of gentle massage which is intended to encourage the natural drainage of the lymph from the tissues.  It is a very superficial technique that can be incredibly relaxing and sometimes very “draining” depending on what kind of toxins are being released.
• Deep Tissue Relief: Deep tissue massage applies more pressure during the massage session than other forms of massage to allow the massage therapist to work deep into the sub-layers of the afflicted muscle groups. The massage pressure will be applied across the grain of the muscle to relieve chronic muscle pain and breakup scar tissue deep within a targeted muscle group.
• Pre-Natal Massage: Massage therapy during pregnancy is a wonderful complementary choice for prenatal care. It is a healthy way to reduce stress and promote overall wellness. Massage relieves many of the normal discomforts experienced during pregnancy, such as backaches, stiff neck, leg cramps, headaches and edema (or swelling).
• Trigger Point Therapy: A trigger point is a tight area within muscle tissue that causes pain in other parts of the body. A trigger point in the back, for example, may induce referral pain in the neck. The neck, now acting as a satellite trigger point, may then cause pain in the head. The pain may be sharp and intense or a dull ache.  Trigger point therapy aims to reduce these active triggers.
• Reflexology: Reflexology is a system of massage used to relieve tension and treat illness, based on the theory that there are reflex points on the feet, hands, and head linked to every part of the body.  If you are interested in a 10 minute Foot Reflexology add-on, please let Monica know when you are scheduling.
• Oncology Massage: Oncology massage is an approach to massage therapy based in both compassion and specialized massage treatments to help people manage their experience with cancer.  It is, first and foremost, Comfort-Oriented Touch.  People fighting the battle of cancer can benefit from massage therapy in multiple ways throughout the battle- initially after diagnosis, before & after surgery, during chemotherapy, before or after radiation therapy, as well as in end-of-life care.  Massage is a soothing and nurturing gift that people living with cancer deserve to have.
• Initial Pricing:  Prices start off at these levels.  Monica believes that all people deserve massage and that it should not only be looked at as a luxury, but a way of life.  If there is some reason your life and budget limit this capability, please talk to Monica about discounts or specials available.
